Herbert efforts made him the founding father of gourmet coffee in California. The cost for The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf was born during the honeymoon of Herbert and Mona Hymann, who both fell in love with wonderful coffee shops of Europe.
By end of 2012 the chain boosts than 900 stores in around 28 countries.
